From the first survey to final commissioning, every component is planned around the building, its occupants and the required level of protection.

Our process

How we work

A clear, documented route from first visit to a certified, working system.

  1. Survey

We visit your building, review your fire risk assessment and agree the right category and coverage of system.

  2. Design

Our team designs the system to BS 5839-1, selecting the panel, devices and zoning that suit your building and budget.

  3. Installation

Our engineers install and wire the system with minimal disruption, working around your occupants and operations.

  4. Commission & handover

We test every device, commission the cause and effect, and hand over certificates, logbook and training.

Designed to BS 5839, documented for your records

Every system we install is designed, installed and commissioned in line with BS 5839-1. You receive the certification and documentation your fire risk assessment, insurer and enforcing authority expect to see.

FAQs

Common questions

How long does a fire alarm installation take?

It depends on the size and complexity of the building. After the survey we give you a clear programme, and we can phase work or work out of hours to keep your building running.

Can you replace or extend an existing system?

Yes. We regularly upgrade ageing panels, extend systems into refurbished areas and take over systems installed by others after a survey.

Do you work in occupied buildings?

Yes — most of our installations are in occupied commercial and residential buildings. We plan work around your occupants and keep escape routes and protection available throughout.

What happens after installation?

We recommend a servicing agreement so the system is tested and maintained to BS 5839-1. Every installation also carries our 12-month no-quibble guarantee.
